Ayah/Verse to Remember

In the name of God, most compassionate, most merciful. Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in the best manners. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided." (Al-Quran 16:125)

Alaska volcano erupts twice, sends ash 12 miles up

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Alaska's Mount Redoubt erupted several times Thursday, spewing a more than 12-mile-high cloud that could drop ash on Anchorage for the first time since the volcano began erupting Sunday night.

The Alaska Volcano Observatory said the first eruption around 8:30 a.m. shot an ash cloud about 30,000 feet in the air, and a second eruption about an hour later sent ash 65,000 feet high — the highest cloud since the eruptions began. Five to 10 smaller eruptions followed, with none of their plumes surpassing 20,000 feet.

The largest eruption caused a mud flow into the Drift River near the base of the volcano.

Before Thursday's eruptions, the volcano had been relatively quiet for more than a day.

"We can have these large explosions pretty much any time," said Stephanie Prejean, an observatory seismologist. "We don't know how long this will continue."

When Redoubt last erupted 20 years ago, it went on for four months.

The National Weather Service said prevailing winds were expected to carry ash from the larger eruption east across Cook Inlet toward some of Alaska's larger communities. An ash fall advisory for the western Kenai Peninsula covers the towns of Kenai, Soldotna and Cooper Landing.

The weather service said a trace of ash was reported south of Kenai and at its airport, but it wasn't expecting any significant accumulation from Thursday's eruptions.

Ash dropped Thursday afternoon on Homer, a tourist and fishing town at the southern tip of the Kenai Peninsula.

Juxia Scarpitta, owner of Halcyon Heights Bed and Breakfast in Homer, said the ash had obliterated her view of the bay and turned the snow into what looked like a carpet covered with gray dots.

"It is falling pretty fast," she said.Story

The massacre of Jenine refugees camp

The massacre of Jenine refugees camp - 12.04.2002

The Battle of Jenin took place in April 2002 in Jenin's Palestinian refugee camp as part of Operation Defensive Shield, a large-scale military operation conducted by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), the largest conducted in the West Bank since the 1967 Six-Day War. The battle attracted widespread international attention because journalists, particularly in the UK, reported that a massacre of Palestinians had taken place during the fighting, and that hundreds, or even thousands, of bodies had been secretly buried in mass graves by the IDF.

The United Nations (UN) report said that the number of Palestinians killed was at least 52, 22 of whom were civilians, according to Human Rights Watch (HRW). 23 Israeli soldiers were killed. A section of the camp was destroyed during the fighting.

An UNRWA administrated refugee camp near Jenin was entered by Israeli forces in early April 2002, an operation the IDF described as intending "to dismantle the terrorist infrastructure operating out of the P.A.-controlled areas". Over the next few days a battle took place between the IDF and Palestinians. According to the IDF, Israel chose not to bomb the spots of resistance using aircraft as it entered, but rather to take hold of the city using infantry, although there appears to have been a limited use of helicopters.

Beheadings in Islam

There are two mentioning of beheadings in the Quran.

Chapter 47:3 says “When you encounter the unbelievers on the battlefield, strike off their heads until you have crushed them completely; then bind the [surviving] prisoners tightly.” Chapter 8:12 states “I will cast dread into the hearts of the unbelievers. Strike off their heads, then, and strike off all of their fingertips.

To say Islam and the Quran support and commands Muslims to behead unbelievers is really out of tone with the Quranic teachings in regards to innocent people as is none militant ones.

Accourding to Islam, humanity is the result of Adam and Eve, so lets see what the Quran speaks in regards to the children of Adam and Eve.

17: 70 And indeed Allah (God) has honored the Children of Adam, and Allah (God) carried them on land and sea, and has provided them with At-Taiyibât (lawful good things), and has preferred them above many of those whom He has created with a marked preference.

The Quran clearly commands in verse in Chapter 2:190

Fight in the Cause of Allah, those who fight you, but Dont transgress. Allah DOESN'T LOVE transgressors.

Lets bring this very important verse to light Chapter 76:8-11

And they feed, for the love of Allah, the indigent, the orphan, and THE CAPTIVE OF WAR.
Say( Muslims ) : We only fear a day of distressful wrath from the side of our lord. Lo, Allah will deliver them from the evil of that day, and will shed over them a light of beauty and joy.

Chapter.2:112

But FORGIVE THEM, and overlook (their misdeeds). Verily, Allah loves the good¬doers.

Chapter 7:199 Show forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and TURN AWAY FROM the FOOLISH (i.e. don't punish them).

An Example of Allah's Mercy in the Quran

Say: 'O My servants who have transgressed against your own souls: do not despair of God's mercy,
for God forgives all sins. It is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'
Qur'an (39:53)

More Quranic verses in regards to mercy and love>

Islam condemns violence against the innocent, and the QURANIC teachings are much deeper then two verses, that all people will be held accountable for their actions.

Life and Death are STRICTLY given by Allah and ONLY Allah has the right to decide who stays and who goes.

Islam orders Muslims to fight those who transgress against them and never supported war through force.

Islam means to submit to Allah and Allah teaches us in the Quran to submit to Allah's will and to try and not force the issue.

You can look at all the verses you want, but over all the message is clear and killing unjustly will have its punishment according to Allah, and a very strict law to break when it comes to the value of human beings.

The Quran also makes a clear case for the prophet Mohammad (pbuh) as well

And it was by God`s grace that thou [O Prophet] didst deal gently with thy followers: for if thou hadst been
harsh and hard of heart, they would indeed have broken away from thee` (3:159).

How does the Quran command Muslims to spread Islam truly ?

`Call thou [all mankind] unto thy Sustainer`s path with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in the most kindly manner`
(16:125).

This might blow the minds of Muslim critics at HOW IMPORTANT MERCY IS TO ALLAH, in this verse here clearly Allah stats in chapter 6:12 He [Allah] has inscribed [prescribed] for himself (the rule of) mercy.

Its of extreme importance of the act of mercy in Islam, because Allah tells us in this verse that Mercy is inscribed into his law and its a law on ALLAHS to show MERCY to all creation,

Jesus (pbuh) sending the comforter and being a muslim

Islam teaches Jesus ( pbuh) is a prophet,
Bible teachers say Jesus ( pbuh ) was the son of god, god in the flesh, even go to say that the only way to heaven is through accepting jesus because he died for our sins as the only Saviour for humanity.

but How can that be, lets carefully look into the bible and what Jesus says :

Jesus says in john chapter 16,between verses 5 to 14 ,in which jesus is speaking of someone to come who he himself will send .

ok here they are.

5-but i now go my way to him that sent me and none of you asketh me, whither goest thou ?
6-but because i have said these things unto you, sorrow hath filled your hearts,

7-nevertheless i tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that i go away, for if i go not away, the comforter will not come 8-unto you, but if i depart, I WILL SEND HIM UNTO YOU
9-and when he come, he will reprove the world of sin and of righteousness and of judgment

10-Of sin, because they believe not on me,
11-Of righteousnesses, because i go to my father and ye see me no more
12-of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged
13-I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now

14-Howbeit when HE, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH, IS COME , HE WILL GUIDE YOU UNTO ALL TRUTH, FOR HE SHALL NOT SPEAK OF HIMSELF, BUT WHATSOEVER HE SHALL HEAR ,THAT HE SHALL SPEAK AND HE WILL SHOW YOU THINGS TO COME

15-HE SHALL GLORIFY ME, FOR HE SHALL RECEIVE OF MINE AND SHALL SHOW IT UNTO YOU.

That description of the coming spirit of light , which jesus himself will send ,Is no other then the prophet Mohammad ( pbuh ).

He didn't speak from his own words, but whatever he heard. The Quran that Mohammad brought to humanity, speaks of Jesus (pbuh) second to Moses (pbuh) and the Blessed mother Mary ( pbuh) also has a chapter named after her.

Islam and the Quran

The Quran referred to Jesus (pbuh) with three descriptions. 1- The word of God 2- The spirit of God 3- The son of Mary (pbuh)

Accuses the few evil Jews who where manipulating God's promise to them and were among the unbelievers.
Confirms he was the sent Messiah to the Jews.
Confirms he was also a Jew. Confirms of his Miracles and even attributes a great miracle which many Christians would not know and that he spoke from birth.
He was the reason why Mary was not treated so harsh for having a child with out being married. Jesus(pbuh) spoke from birth to defend his Mother and confirm of his miracle creation and birth.

The Quran explains

At length she brought,The (babe) to her people,Carrying him (in her arms). They said: "O Mary!Truly an amazing thing Hast thou brought!

"O sister of Aaron!Thy father was notA man of evil, nor thy Mother a woman unchaste!"

But she pointed to the babe. They said: "How can we Talk to one who is A child in the cradle?"

He said: "I am indeed A servant of Allah: He hath given me Revelation and made me A prophet;

"And He hath made me Blessed wheresoever I be, And hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long As I live:
"(He) hath made me kind To my mother, and not Overbearing or miserable;

"So Peace is on me The day I was born, The day that I die, And the Day that I Shall be raised up To life (again)"!

Such (was) Jesus the son Of Mary: (it is) a statement Of truth, about which They (vainly) dispute. Qur'an 19: 16-34

Jesus is a very common name used among Muslims all across the world.

Who else in the history of mankind did what Mohammad has done ??

Most influencial people in history

Interested yet or want more ?

this might help understand why Muslims cant accept Jesus (pbuh) to be the son of god or god in the flesh. see even in the bible Jesus speaks of his successor to come, in which He will send himself who else could Jesus (pbuh) be sending, for a fact he is not sending himself back .

Al Quran describes Allah/God to be beyond any Image and Powerful beyond comprehension.

The 10 Commandments are broken every day and not many realize this fact. The first two crucial Commandments, Lets take a look

ONE: 'You shall have no other gods before Me.( It's fair to say this commandment makes it Clear that God is first, not even a supposed son can equal to God). kind of like saying the first part of the Islamic Shihada/testmony of faith
which is La ila ella Allah, which translated to there is no god but God or in the christian text You shall have no other gods before me)

TWO: 'You shall not make for yourself a carved image--any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.' ( How many christians and Churchs do we know of that have images, ect that attribute to God supposedly, and heaven as well ).

This speaks for itself as well. Something else that is very interesting to me and I think its very important to share with all of the readers here and that is Jesus (pbuh) in the bible in many occasions have spoken the words in which every Muslim greets another, alsallam alaykem or peace be unto you

for example

Genesis 43:23 "And he said, Peace be to you, fear not: your God, and the God of your father, hath given you treasure in your sacks: I had your money. And he brought Simeon out unto them."

Judges 6:23 "And the LORD said unto him, Peace be unto thee; fear not: thou shalt not die."

1 Samuel 25:6 "And thus shall ye say to him that liveth in prosperity, Peace be both to thee, and peace be to thine house, and peace be unto all that thou hast."

Luke 24:36 "And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you."

John 20:19 ".....came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you."

John 20:26 "........then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you."

i don't remember ever seeing one Christian greet another with peace be unto you or alsallam alaykem ??
how come if Jesus himself said that to his people ???

Honest opinions are needed,

have a great day all and peace be upon you, or unto you ,which is the same thing really Alsallam Alaykem

What Does Islam say about beheadings?

That is a good question

To answer it simply, well its against Islam to kill a defenseless man, or a person who posses no threat to you.

Muslim must be more more mercyfull with all of Allahs creation and specifically the children of Adam and Eve. Allah commands this mercy, and for a Muslim to love Allah they must be mercy full.

Islam is against acts of terror and unjust actions. Before you judge the moment, judge the teachings, and the Quran commands good and Just actions and commands to never be among the unjust and evil doers.

Islam, AlQuran and slavery

To answer this question, it should first be remarked that Islam has tolerated slavery but has never approved of it, and that all its teachings and prescriptions in this regard lead to its alleviation as far as possible in the short term, and, in the longer term, conduce to its progressive suppression. To abolish it would have been impossible in a world in which it was generally practiced by all the states which bordered on the new Muslim empire, and in which the idea of challenging the principle itself had not occurred to anyone. It was the custom to enslave prisoners of war -- when these were not simply massacred -- and the Islamic state would have put itself at a grave disadvantage vis-a-vis its enemies had it not reciprocated to some extent. By guaranteeing them humane treatment, and various possibilities of subsequently releasing themselves, it ensured that a good number of combatants in the opposing armies preferred captivity at the hands of Muslims to death on the field of battle.

It should be very clearly underlined that the slavery once practiced in the Muslim world cannot be compared to the form it had assumed -- for instance -- in the Roman Empire. Islamic legislation subjected slaveowners to a set of precise obligations, first among which was the slave's right to life, for, according to a hadith, 'Whoever kills his slave shall be killed by us'. In consequence, the murder of a slave was punished like that of a free man.

There are many other hadiths which define Islam's true attitude in this regard. The Prophet said: 'Your slaves are your brethren; therefore whoever has a brother who depends upon him must feed and clothe him in the way he feeds and clothes himself; and should not impose upon him tasks which exceed his capacity; should you ask them to do such things, then you are obliged to help them.' The Sharia takes this injunction, among many others, into account when defining the responsibilities and duties of slaveholders.

There is another teaching which enjoins respect for the human dignity of slaves: 'Let none of you say, "This man, or this woman, is my slave". He must rather say: "This is my man, and this my woman."' Putting into relief the provisional character of social ties and the authority exercised by slaveowners over their slaves, the Prophet said: 'It is true that God has made you their masters, but, had He so wished, He could equally well have made you their slaves.'

To manumit a slave has always been regarded as one of the most meritorious of all acts, and many passages of the Qur'an recommend or even require it, particularly as a means of expiation for serious faults. Traditional legislation lays down the methods of voluntary liberation of slaves by their masters (itq), and there were very many Muslims who observed these, especially at the end of their lives, so as not to die and appear before God without having given full freedom to the human beings placed in their power during their earthly lives.

Additionally, slaves had the ability to enfranchise themselves at their own initiative, without waiting passively for the goodwill of their masters: the procedure known as mukataba allowed them to buy their own freedom with sums which they saved from their work, and which the state frequently augmented with advances -- a measure which the slaveowner had no right to oppose. In contrast to the situation under Roman law, slaves were not deprived of the legal ability to exercise their rights and to appeal to a judge against their masters in all cases of illegal treatment.

Besides domestic slavery, which was generally imbued with a patriarchal character, there also existed a form of military slavery, which was frequently employed by princes in need of recruits, especially for their personal guards. This situation had the effect of conferring an often considerable influence and power on men of servile condition or origin, and some of these became the founders of great and illustrious dynasties such as the Tulunids and Mamlukes of Egypt.

The object of a prosperous commercial sector, which under the Abbasid Empire was often the speciality of non-Muslims, particularly Byzantine and Venetian Christians, and Jews, slavery gradually declined in importance until, at the beginning of the present century, it was confined to a few survivals which have now disappeared entirely. Thanks to the strict traditional controls which have always regulated the practice, it would be difficult to deny that social conditions were remarkably humane during the great periods of Muslim civilization, and that these, moreover, were in conformity with the 'egalitarian' spirit of Islam, which, in a hadith, teaches that 'the blackest of Abyssinians' is superior to most noble of Quraishites, if he has more faith. -- p. 104 - 107

Wine Pure or impure ??

There is no question that drinking wine and other alcoholic beverages is forbidden in Islam. This is a matter of unanimous agreement among Muslims.

Allah says: “O ye who believe! Intoxicants, gambling, idols, and divination by arrows are but filth of Satan's handiwork. Keep away from it in order that you may succeed. Satan's plan is but to excite enmity and hatred between you, with intoxicants and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer: will you not then desist?” [ Sûrah al-Mâ'idah : 90-91]

Scholars agree that this verse prohibiting intoxicants is among the last verses of the Qur'ân to be revealed. There is no possibility that this verse has been abrogated. Its ruling, therefore, is in force until the Day of Judgment.

However, does that fact that wine is unlawful also mean that it is impure?

Some scholars of the Shâfi`î school of law claim that the impurity of alcoholic beverages is a matter of juristic consensus. [al-Nawawî, al-Majmû` (2/563)]

This claim is untrue. The question of whether alcoholic beverages are pure or impure is a matter of scholarly dispute.

Above: 'The True Furqan'

You Can't Ignore this or send it to as many muslims as u can.

The new AMERICAN Quran: a dangerous trick.
A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait, titled 'The True Furqan'.
It is being described as the ayats of the Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out that the two American printing Companies; 'Omega 2001' and 'Wine Press' are involved in the publishing of 'The True Furqan', a book which has also been titled 'The 21st Century Quran'!
It has over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and English languages...it is being distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private English schools! The book contains 77 Surats, which include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer vesion of this incorporating the Christian belief of the three spirits.

And this so called Quran opposes many Islamic beliefs. In one of its ayats it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissible and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is HARAAM.

This book even goes as far as attacking Allah, Subhanahu wa Tahala!

All this is poisoning our children at approx. price of US $3.

Brothers and Sisters, it is up to you whether you all want to forward this message or not!

But if this is true and you do forward it, it will benefit all those who read it.

Calligraphy

From the Greek word for "beautiful writing," calligraphy was considered the highest art form in Islam, for several reasons. For one, Muslims believe that Allah used the Arabic language to recite the Qur'an to Muhammad, and for that reason, it has a spiritual meaning for Muslims. Also, using words as artistry avoided the problem of using pictorial images. Whereas decorative writing all but disappeared in Europe with the advent of the printing press, the Islamic world retained it as an art form long after the necessity of writing longhand was removed by modern technology. Calligraphy adorned architecture, decorative arts, coins, jewellery, textiles, weapons, tools, paintings, and manuscripts.

Although the Arabic language and script existed before Islam, the spread of the religion also facilitated the spread of the language throughout the new Muslim lands. Arabic became a basic component of Islamic culture, mostly because it was the language of the Qur'an. Caliph Abd al-Malik (r. 685-705) decreed that Arabic should be the administrative language of the empire. There were many Muslim regions, of course, in which Arabic was not the native language. Persian was the major non-Arabic language spoken in the Islamic world, and in the 7th century it had its own script. As Islam spread through the areas where Persian and other languages were spoken, however, the Arabic script was adopted. The Persian language, also known as Farsi, added four letters to the Arabic script to represent sounds that existed in Persian, but not in Arabic. The Turks later also added another letter to render a distinctly Turkish sound, although modern Turkish no longer uses the Arabic script. The Arabic script is still used to write the Kazakh, Uzbek, and Tajik languages in Central Asia, as well as Urdu in present-day Pakistan. It was also used at one point, though no longer, to write Malay, Swahili, and several North African languages. Arabic, belonging to the Semitic language group, has 28 letters. There are only 17 different forms, however, so dots or strokes above or below the forms are used to indicate different letters. For calligraphic purposes, these extra markings add to the beauty and artistic appeal of Arabic.

Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Yassin

Sheikh Ahmed Ismail Yassin was born in the village of Al-Jora, Majdal district, in 1938 and sought refuge alongside his family in the nearby Gaza Strip following the 1948 Nakba or the usurpation of most of Palestine at the hands of Zionist gangs.

The Sheikh was paralyzed in his youth as a result of an accident while exercising on the beaches of Gaza.

He worked as a teacher of Arabic language and Islamic religion then as a Khatib (preacher) and teacher in the Gaza mosques. He turned into one of the most vociferous and most famous Khatibs in the Gaza Strip following its occupation in 1967.

He also worked as a chairman of the Islamic Complex in Gaza before his arrest in 1983 for possession of weapons, establishing a military organization and championing the annihilation of the Hebrew state. The Sheikh was court-martialed and the Israeli judges passed a 13 years prison term against him.

He was released in 1985 in line with a prisoners’ exchange deal between the Zionist authorities and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – The General Command after spending 11 months in prison.

The Sheikh founded the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, along with a number of Islamic activists in the Gaza Strip in 1987.

Zionist occupation forces broke into and ransacked his house in late August 1988 and threatened to push him along with his wheelchair across the borders into Lebanon.

On the evening of 18/5/1989 the occupation authorities arrested Sheikh Ahmed Yassin along with hundreds of Hamas activists in a desperate attempt to curb the armed resistance that started to take the form of attacks on settlers and soldiers.

On 16/10/1991 a Israeli army court passed a life sentence in addition to 15 years imprisonment sentence against Sheikh Ahmed Yassin after an indictment list leveled nine charges against him including inciting the kidnap and killing of Israeli soldiers and the establishment of the Hamas Movement’s security and military wings.

Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, other than his complete paralysis, suffered a number of other disabilities and diseases including loss of eyesight in his right eye due to Israeli blows during interrogation in addition to weakness in his left eye. He also suffered from chronic inflammation in his ear, lung infection and other diseases in his abdomen.

The detention of the Sheikh in jails further worsened his health conditions, which necessitated carrying him to hospital on numerous occasions.

On 13/12/1992 a commando cell affiliated with the Qassam Brigades, military wing of Hamas, kidnapped an Israeli soldier and offered to set him free in return for the release of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin and a number of other detainees in jails including sick and elderly and Arab captives. However, the Israeli government refused the offer and stormed the house where the soldier was held leading to his death along with commander of the attacking unit and two other soldiers before the martyrdom of the three members of that cell in Bir Nabala near occupied Jerusalem.

Sheikh Ahmed Yassin was released on 1/10/1997 in accordance with an agreement between Jordan and the Israel that stipulated the release of the Sheikh in return for delivering to Tel Aviv two intelligence agents, who were arrested in Jordan following an aborted assassination attempt of Khaled Mishaal, political bureau chief of the Hamas Movement.

Sheikh Ahmed Yassin survived a assassination attempt on 6th September 2003 when Zionist army choppers fired missiles at a house in Gaza. He was only lightly injured in his right arm.

Ahmad Yassin was assassinated in an Israeli helicopter missile strike on 21 March 2004.

Israeli helicopter gunships fired missiles at Hamas' spiritual leader, Shaikh Ahmed Yassin, as he left a mosque after performing the Monday dawn prayers, killing the Hamas leader and six other worshippers. A reporter who rushed to the scene after hearing three loud explosions found the blown-up remains of Yassin's blood-soaked wheel-chair.

Witnesses at the mosque said Yassin's body had been evacuated to Al-Shifa Hospital.

Al-Manar TV reported that the Israeli Prime Minister, Sharon, personally supervised the assassination of Shaikh Yassin, whose death may be an attempt by Sharon to distract public attention from his personal scandals.

Dr. Abdul al-Aziz Rantisi was appointed head of Hamas in the Gaza Strip following the assassination of Ahmad Yassin on 22 March 2004.

Islam Commands The Faithful Always To Be Forgiving

One of the important signs of compassion is for a person to be able to be forgiving. This is how Allah calls upon His servants to be forgiving in the Qur'an:

Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant. (Surat al A'raf: 199)

This is something that people may find difficult, but is an attitude that will be well rewarded in the sight of Allah. People may well be caught up in anger and refuse to forgive a mistake. But Allah has revealed to the faithful that it is better to forgive, and has recommended this morality to them:

The repayment of a bad action is one equivalent to it.But if someone pardons and puts things right, his reward is with Allah... (Surat ash-Shura: 40)

In another verse, Allah reveals that "But if someone is steadfast and forgives, that is the most resolute course to follow." (Surat ash-Shura: 43) and emphasizes that this is a very superior form of morality. In the words "Those of you possessing affluence and ample wealth should not make oaths that they will not give to their relatives and the very poor and those who have made hijra in the way of Allah. They should rather pardon and overlook. Would you not love Allah to forgive you? Allah is Ever-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Surat an-Nur: 22) Allah encourages the faithful to consider their own position when it comes to being forgiving. That is because everyone wants Allah to forgive and protect and show him mercy. In the same way, we all hope that other people will excuse and forgive us if we make a mistake. Allah has thus commanded the faithful to treat others in the same way that they would like to be treated themselves. That is an important responsibility, and one that encourages the faithful to be forgiving towards one another. Our Prophet encouraged the faithful to be forgiving in the words, 'Allah has not failed to exalt any man who has forgiven unfairness or cruelty.' (Ahmad)

Since believers know that they may make a mistake at any moment, they behave tolerantly towards others. That is because those verses in the Qur'an that deal with repentance make it clear that the important thing is not making a mistake but rather being determined not to repeat a mistake as soon as one realizes one has done so. One of these verses reads:

Allah only accepts the tawba of those who do evil in ignorance and then quickly make tawba after doing it. Allah turns towards such people. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise. (Surat an-Nisa': 17)

Under these conditions, that reveal the sincerity of the individual, the faithful behave most forgivingly and compassionately towards one another. If someone who has committed an error sincerely repents having done so, then they cannot judge that person for his past deeds. Furthermore, even if the faithful are totally in the right and the other side completely in the wrong, they still have no compunction about forgiveness. That is because Allah recommends such behaviour as an example of proper morality, "Those who give in times of both ease and hardship, those who control their rage and pardon other people - Allah loves the good-doers - " (Surah Al 'Imran: 134)

When it comes to forgiveness, the faithful do not distinguish between great and small errors, and do not tailor their view of forgiveness accordingly. Someone may have committed an error and led to great loss of life or great financial loss, thus inflicting severe harm on others. Yet the faithful know that everything that happens does so by the permission of Allah and as part of His destiny, and therefore place themselves in the hands of Allah when it comes to such things, and feel no personal anger.

Alternatively, someone may have transgressed this Qur'anic rule and exceeded the bounds set by Allah. Yet it is only Allah who can judge that person's behaviour. That means that it is never up to the faithful to judge or refuse to forgive anybody on any matter. If a person is truly sorry and repentant then he will have his reward only in the sight of Allah. In fact, Allah has revealed in many verses that apart from 'ascribing partners to Him,' he will forgive the errors of the faithful if they sincerely repent. Since the faithful cannot know that, they simply forgive in the manner revealed to them By Allah, and if the Qur'an has anything to say on a particular subject they treat the person who has committed an error in the light of that.

Islam Commands Solidarity and Cooperation Between People

Allah has issued this command in the Qur'an:

You who have iman! do not profane the sacred rites of Allah or the sacred months, or the sacrificial animals, or the ritual garlands, or those heading for the Sacred House, desiring profit and good pleasure from their Lord. When you have come out of ihram, then hunt for game. Do not let hatred for a people who debar you from the Masjid al-Haram incite you into going beyond the limits. Help each other to goodness and taqwa. Do not help each other to wrongdoing and enmity. Have taqwa of Allah. Allah is severe in retribution. (Surat al-Maida: 2)

As is clear from that verse, the faithful struggle only for what is good. They consider the words of Allah, "Whatever good you do, Allah knows it." (Surat an-Nisa': 127) and never forget that they will be recompensed for all they do in the sight of our Lord. Allah reveals that pleasing mutual aid needs to be in a framework of 'good and godliness.' The meaning of goodness has also been explained to us in the Qur'an:

It is not devoutness to turn your faces to the East or to the West. Rather, those with true devoutness are those who have iman in Allah and the Last Day, the Angels, the Book and the Prophets, and who, despite their love for it, give away their wealth to their relatives and to orphans and the very poor, and to travellers and beggars and to set slaves free, and who establish salat and pay zakat; those who honour their contracts when they make them, and are steadfast in poverty and illness and in battle. Those are the people who are true. They are the people who have taqwa. (Surat al-Baqara: 177)
The most important characteristics that people gain through Islam are love, mercy, cooperation, self-sacrifice, tolerance and forgiveness

True goodness, therefore, is rather different to the way it is perceived in society in general. People who do not live by the morality of the Qur'an regard good deeds as an act of help conferred on someone else as a favour whenever one happens to feel like it. Good deeds of that kind are usually restricted to giving money to a beggar in the street, or giving up one's seat to an elderly person on the bus.

Yet as we have seen from the above verse, the goodness described in the Qur'an is a concept that encompasses the whole of a believer's life, and is an obligation that needs to be fulfilled throughout the course of his life, not just when he feels like it or happens to remember it. A Muslim is a servant who possesses true sincerity, who helps the poor and needy, even if he is in need himself, even giving up the things he loves (Surat al-Insan: 8). That is because in, which reads And beggars and the destitute received a due share of their wealth. (Surat adh-Dhariyat: 19) Allah has revealed that rendering assistance, helping others and doing good are all incumbent upon Muslims. The help a Muslim gives is unconditional. A believer will be prepared ready to make any sacrifice in order to encourage others towards what is good and to do it himself. He expects nothing in return, apart from winning the pleasure of Allah. This is how Allah describes such behaviour by believers:

We feed you only out of desire for the Face of Allah. We do not want any repayment from you or any thanks. Truly We fear from our Lord a glowering, calamitous Day.' (Surat al-Insan: 9-10)

A Muslim knows that Allah is the Lord of infinite justice, and never forgets that his good behaviour will be suitably rewarded in the hereafter. Neither does he ever forget that the life of this world is only temporary, and that his true home lies in the sight of Allah. That is because Allah warns people of that inevitable end, and calls on everybody to behave in a manner pleasing to Him:

We did not create the heavens and earth and everything between them, except with truth. The Hour is certainly coming, so turn away graciously. (Surat al-Hijr: 85)

Worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him. Be good to your parents and relatives and to orphans and the very poor, and to neighbours who are related to you and neighbours who are not related to you, and to companions and travellers and your slaves. Allah does not love anyone vain or boastful. (Surat an-Nisa': 36)

The recompense that will be received by those who do exhibit pleasing behaviour is revealed in the verses in these terms, and is great good news for all of mankind:

But as for those who have iman and do right actions, We will not let the wage of good- doers go to waste. (Surat al-Kahf: 30)

When those who have taqwa of Allah are asked, 'What has your Lord sent down?' their reply is, 'Good!' There is good in the dunya for those who do good, and the abode of the akhira is even better. How wonderful is the abode of those who have taqwa: Gardens of Eden which they enter, with rivers flowing under them, where they have whatever they desire. That is how Allah repays those who have taqwa. (Surat an-Nahl: 30-31)

Islam Commands Muslims to Behave Justly

Islamic morality commands believers to behave justly when taking a decision, speaking or working, and in short in all areas of their lives. Allah's commandments in the Qur'an and the sunna of our Prophet describe that understanding of justice in great detail. All the messengers revealed to us in the Qur'an, brought peace and justice to all the communities they were sent to with their warnings, and the prophets were a means whereby cruelty and despotism were lifted from the shoulders of the community of the faithful. As Allah has revealed in one verse;

Every nation has a Messenger and when their Messenger comes everything is decided between them justly. They are not wronged. (Surah Yunus: 47)

The most important feature of the Islamic understanding of justice is that it commands justice at all times, even if the person one is dealing with is very close to one. As Allah commands in another verse:

You who have iman! be upholders of justice, bearing witness for Allah alone, even against yourselves or your parents and relatives. Whether they are rich or poor, Allah is well able to look after them. Do not follow your own desires and deviate from the truth. If you twist or turn away, Allah is aware of what you do. (Surat an-Nisa: 135)

Allah commands you to return to their owners the things you hold on trust and, when you judge between people, to judge with justice. How excellent is what Allah exhorts you to do!... (Surat al-Nisa': 58)

As that verse makes clear, the wealth or social status of the person he is dealing with is of no importance to a believer. The important thing is fairness, that nobody should be treated unjustly, and the scrupulous implementation of the holy verses of Allah. This is how it is commanded in another verse:

You who have iman! show integrity for the sake of Allah, bearing witness with justice. Do not let hatred for a people incite you into not being just. Be just. That is closer to taqwa. Have taqwa of Allah. Allah is aware of what you do. (Surat al-Maida: 8)

In that verse, Allah orders the faithful always to act justly, even when it comes to their own enemies. No Muslim can make a spontaneous decision on the basis that the person he is dealing with once harmed him or left him in a difficult situation, or that he is a personal enemy. If the other side is genuinely in the wrong, the Muslim has a duty to respond with good and to display the morality commanded by Allah.

Allah has issued the following commandment to believers: Allah does not forbid you from being good to those who have not fought you in the deen or driven you from your homes,or from being just towards them.Allah loves those who are just. (Surat al- Mumtahana: 8) He has informed Muslims what the nature of their relationships with other communities should be. These verses are the very foundation of a believer's view of all other people. A Muslim's attitude towards others is formed not by the nature of the person he is dealing with, but rather by Allah's revelations in the Qur'an. That is why Muslims with pure hearts always support what is right. Their determination on this matter is revealed in these terms,

Among those We have created there is a community who guide by the Truth and act justly according to it. (Surat al-A'raf: 181)

Other verses on the subject of justice read:

Allah commands you to return to their owners the things you hold on trust and, when you judge between people, to judge with justice. How excellent is what Allah exhorts you to do! Allah is All-Hearing, All-Seeing. (Surat an-Nisa': 58)

Say: 'My Lord has commanded justice. Stand and face Him in every mosque and call on Him, making your deen sincerely His. As He originated you, so you will return.' (Surat al- A'raf: 29)

Allah commands justice and doing good and giving to relatives. And He forbids indecency and doing wrong and tyranny. He warns you so that hopefully you will pay heed. (Surat an-Nahl: 90)

According to the view of justice as set out in the Qur'an, the religion, race and gender of the person is dealing with are of no importance. That is because Islam maintains that all races and genders are equal. Our Prophet's words that "All men come from the Prophet Adam, and the Prophet Adam comes from the earth' stress that there is no difference between people."(Ibni Mace, Menasik, p.84) Features such as skin colour, social status and wealth confer no superiority on anybody.

All over the world people are subjected to cruel treatment because of their race, language or skin colour. Yet according to the Qur'an, one of the reasons for the creation of different tribes and peoples is that 'they should come to know one another.' All tribes and nations are the servants of Allah, and must come to know one another and learn their different cultures, languages, customs and abilities. One intention behind the existence of different nations and races is cultural wealth, not war and conflict. All true believers know very well that only godliness can impart superiority, in other words the fear of Allah and faith in Him. As Allah has revealed in the Qur'an:

Mankind! We created you from a male and female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you might come to know each other. The noblest among you in Allah's sight is the one with the most taqwa.Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (Surat al-Hujurat: 13)

Elsewhere, He has revealed:

Among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and the variety of your languages and colours. There are certainly Signs in that for every being. (Surat ar-Rum: 22)

When we look at the history of Islam we see many examples in which the faithful behaved with complete justice towards other races. Islam grew unbelievably quickly over a wide area, taking in Africa, Asia and Europe. The beauty of Islamic morality were thus spread by means of these conquests. Islam has spread to all races, nations, social structures and regions, and has brought millions of people together with a bond of brotherhood the like of which the world had never before seen.

Professor Hamilton Alexander Rossken Gibb is one of the world's foremost experts on Islam. In his book Whither Islam he describes the Islamic view of other races:

"No other society has such a record of success uniting in an equality of status, of opportunity, and of endeavors so many and so various races of mankind . . . Islam has still the power to reconcile apparently irreconcilable elements of race and tradition. If ever the opposition of the great societies of East and West is to be replaced by cooperation, the mediation of Islam is an indispensable condition." (H.A.R. Gibb, WHITHER ISLAM, London, 1932, p. 379. http://bama.ua.edu/~msa/islam.html)

Islamic morality aims at a society built on brotherhood, peace, freedom and security. That is why all communities that have come into contact with Islam have given up their oppressive, cruel and aggressive ways, and instead built a society built on peace. (For further details see Justice and Tolerance in the Qur'an by Harun Yahya) Many Western historians have expressed that fact in their works and stated how Islam had deep and positive affects on communities that came into contact with it. In his book The Making of Humanity, Professor Robert Briffault discusses the relationship between Western society and Islam:

"The ideas that inspired the French Revolution and the Declaration of Rights, that guided the framing of the American Constitution and inflamed that struggle for independence in the Latin American countries [and elsewhere] were not inventions of the West. They find their ultimate inspiration and source in the Holy Quran."

(Prof. Robert Briffault, The Making of Humanity, http://www.tolueislam.com/Bazm/Shahid/SM_012.htm)

The truths in the above extracts are an indication of the way that Islamic morality has taught people about peace, tolerance and justice down the centuries. Nowadays, everybody is seeking just such a model, and there is no reason why such a culture should not once more come about. All that is necessary is for people to want to live by the morality of the Qur'an, beginning with themselves and later making efforts to spread it to other people. When the morality commanded in the Qur'an begins to be implemented everybody, from the very highest ranks to the very lowest, will be just, compassionate, tolerant, full of love, respectful and forgiving, and that will bring peace to the whole of society.

Harun Yahya - Mr. Adnan Oktar

Harun Yahya is a pen name used by Mr. Adnan Oktar.

A short biography of Adnan Oktar:

Born in Ankara in 1956, Adnan Oktar lived there through his high school years. During this period, his devotion to Islamic moral values grew even stronger. He deepened his profound knowledge of Islam by reading works of all the great Islamic scholars and decided to tell everyone about Islam's moral values and summon them to a knowledge of truth and beauty.

To continue his education, he entered Istanbul's Mimar Sinan University in 1979 coming in third from among thousands of candidates. Oktar, a talented artist since childhood who regards art as a manifestation of Allah's superior creation, painted surrealist pictures from time to time and gave away a large number of paintings as gifts to friends. In addition, Oktar numbers animals, plants and flowers among his spheres of interest, as well as horticulture, interior design, and décor.

Adnan Oktar is a prominent Turkish intellectual. Completely devoted to moral values and dedicated to communicating the sacred values he cherishes to other people, Oktar started his intellectual struggle in 1979 during his education at Mimar Sinan University's Academy of Fine Arts. During his university years, he carried out detailed research into the prevalent materialistic philosophies and ideologies around him, to the extent of becoming even more knowledgeable about them than their advocates. As a result of his accumulation of knowledge, he has written various books on the fallacy of the theory of evolution. His dedicated intellectual effort against Darwinism and materialism has grown out to be a worldwide phenomenon. Quoting from the 22 April 2000 issue of New Scientist, Mr. Oktar became an "international hero" in communicating the fallacy of the theory of evolution and the fact of creation. The author's intellectual struggle against materialism and Darwinism has frequently been mentioned in such mainly evolutionist publications as National Geographic, Science, New Scientist and NSCE Reports. The English and German editions of the November, 2004, issue of National Geographic referred to the author's works concerning the Fact of Creation. The following quotation from the book The Evolution Deceit was also included: "The theory of evolution is nothing but a deception imposed on us by the dominators of the world system." The author has also produced various works on Zionist racism and Freemasonry and their negative effects on world history and politics. The Zionism criticised by the author in his books is the baseless claims of Zionist extremists pretend to world sovereignty, regard other human beings as worthless entities, maintain that the Jews are the chosen people and that God is theirs alone. Yet the author's writings very definitely do not imply a rejection of the Jews' right to live in peace and security within the borders of their own state.

Islam Forbids the Killing of Innocent People

According to Islam it is a great sin to kill an innocent person, and anyone who does so will suffer great torment in the hereafter:

...So We decreed for the tribe of Israel that if someone kills another person - unless it is in retaliation for someone else or for causing corruption in the earth - it is as if he had murdered all mankind. And if anyone gives life to another person, it is as if he had given life to all mankind. Our Messengers came to them with Clear Signs but even after that many of them committed outrages in the earth. (Surat al-Maida: 32)

As we can see from the above verse, killing one innocent person is regarded as equivalent to killing all of mankind. In another verse, the importance that the faithful attach to life is expressed in these terms:

"Those who do not call on any other god together with Allah and do not kill anyone Allah has made inviolate, except with the right to do so, and do not fornicate; anyone who does that will receive an evil punishment" (Surat al-Furqan: 68 )

In yet another verse, Allah issues the following commandment:

Say: 'Come and I will recite to you what your Lord has made haram for you': that you do not associate anything with Him; that you are good to your parents; that you do not kill your children because of poverty - We will provide for you and them; that you do not approach indecency - outward or inward; that you do not kill any person Allah has made inviolate - except with the right to do so. That is what He instructs you to do so that hopefully you will use your intellect. (Surat al-An'am: 151)

Any Muslim who believes in Allah with a sincere heart, who scrupulously abides by His holy verses and fears suffering in the hereafter will avoid harming even one other person. That is because he knows that Allah is the Lord of Infinite Justice, and will suitably reward him for all his deeds. In one of the hadiths, our Prophet listed the kinds of people who are not pleasing to Allah, 'Those who act cruelly and unjustly in the sacred lands, those who yearn for the ways of the ignorant and those who wrongly shed human blood.' (Bukhari)

Sheikh Sayyed Hassan NasserAllah

Sheikh Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is the leader of the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement. He was born in 1960 in the Bourji Hammoud neighborhood east of the Lebanese capital, Beirut.

In 1975, the civil war in Lebanon forced Nasrallahs family to move to their ancestral home in the South Lebanese village of Bassouriyeh where Nasrallah joined the Amal movement, a political group that represents Shiites in Lebanon.

At that time he was just 15-years-old and Amal was known by the name of the movement of the deprived.

Nasrallah then moved to Najaf in Iraq to study Quraanic divine sciences at a Shiites school.

In 1978, he completed the first stage of his studies successfully inside Hawza (Islamic Seminary), but his studies were interrupted when he was forced to leave by the Iraqi authorities. He then returned to Lebanon, where he studied at the school of Amals leader Sheikh Abbas al-Musawi.

A few years later, Amal elected Nasrallah as its political delegate in Bikaa, making him a member of the central political offices.

After the Israeli invasion in 1982, Nasrallah dedicated himself to the anti-Israeli resistance and joined Hezbollah which mainly aims at resisting the Israeli occupation of southern Lebanon in the Bekaa Valley.

Despite his commitment to Hezbollah, Nasrallah was determined to resume his religious education to become a religious jurisprudent. In 1989, he moved to the sacred Iranian city of Qum to continue his studies.

Nasrallah is married to Fatima Yassin, who comes from the Labanese village of Al Abbasiyee. They have three children remained after their elder son, Hadi, was killed by Israeli occupation forces when he was 18-year-old.

The forty-four-old leader said once in an interview that he reads many books, particularly the memoirs of political figures, including the Memoirs of Sharon and Benjamin Netanyahus book A Place under the Sun, with the intention of getting to know his enemies.

He became the leader of Hezbollah after Israel assassinated the movements leader Sheikh Musawi in 1992.

Nasrallah is considered one of the most powerful and charismatic figures in the Middle East. He is a leader who endlessly fights for the rights of the Arabs and the Muslims.

Under his leadership, Hezbollah became a serious opponent of the Israeli occupation. The movements resistance was one of the main factors that led to the Israeli withdrawal from Southern Lebanon in 2000, ending 22-years of occupation.

Nasrallah also played a major role in the prisoner exchange deal between Israel and Hezbollah in 2004. The agreement was described among the Arab world as a great victory for Hezbollah and Nasrallah was praised as a hero for achieving gains in the Arab-Israeli conflict that no other Arab figure has attained.

For him, Hezbollah isnt just a resistance group. He believes that it carries a message that depends on the Islamic belief.

Nasrallah also believes that Islam can solve all the problems for any society, but he makes clear that the movement doesnt intend to force people into Islam.

He once said that With respect to us, briefly, Islam is not a simple religion including only praises and prayers, rather it is a divine message that was designed for humanity, and it can answer any question man might ask concerning his general and private life. Islam is a religion designed for a society that can revolt and build a state.

JEW TRASHES ZIONISM after explaining the fact that "Allah" is the universal word for God.

An intelligent man who has a great understanding of English, Hebrew and Arabic explains the similarities that certain words have whilst at the same time can completely change in meaning due to positioning of vowels.

Very interesting to note is how he hints at bodies in the Religious/Political globe, that are out there to create distraction and confusion by twisting and changing the meaning to the words he puts forth.

This actual video is much more deeper than meets the eye. If one sits back and reflects, he/she may realise the great possibilities that could eventuate after realising that most of what we have been brought up to learn about others is actually untrue.

I personally feel that Zionism has played a great role in deceiving much of mankind into thinking that "Allah" is a negative or derogatory word, when on the contrary, it is a beautiful and unique word.

Modern feet step back 1.5 million years

Human ancestors created some remarkably lasting impressions on the eastern African landscape around 1.5 million years ago. Walking across a muddy patch of terrain near what’s now Ileret, Kenya, these ancient individuals left footprints that hardened and have now been excavated by a team of scientists.

On close inspection, the preserved footprints provide the oldest evidence for a virtually modern-human foot and walking style in a human ancestor, report geologist Matthew Bennett of Bournemouth University in Poole, England, and his colleagues in the Feb. 27 Science. Finding what amounts to the fossilized behavior of these creatures provides new clues to the evolution of upright stance and walking in modern humans.

Bennett’s team identifies the ancestor as an early Africa-based Homo erectus, or Homo ergaster as some scientists call it.

Measures of the size, spacing and depth of the Ileret impressions allowed the researchers to estimate individuals’ heights, weights and stride lengths, all of which fell within the range of modern humans. Digitized images of the newly discovered footprints show a big toe in line with the other toes, an arrangement that contrasts with the angled, grasping big toes of apes. Other humanlike features of the prints include a pronounced arch and short toes.
